On Saturday, October 26th, the 4th Annual Aloia | Roland 2024 Fish Like MADD Inshore Fishing Tournament took place from Snug Harbor, on Fort Myers Beach, FL. with the goal to raise awareness about drunk driving and underage drinking while uniting community members around MADD’s mission.
Alcohol-related traffic deaths jumped to more than 13,000 for the first time since 2006. 13,384 people were killed in alcohol-related traffic crashes in 2021 – that’s one person every 39 minutes and 37 people a day killed by someone’s choice to drive drunk.
We are proud to announce a record-breaking event attendance for the 2024 year. In partnership with MADD SWFL, and the other participants and sponsors, we successfully raised over $30,000, now totaling over $77,000 raised in collective efforts from this tournament since it’s inception.
