Family Law Paralegal
Job Description
We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to become a part of our team. We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits for a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare/revise/finalize correspondence and documents ie: drafting of simple pleadings, discovery, complaints, and settlement distributions
- Mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
- Scheduling of case events as it pertains to discovery and case management including depositions, hearings, and meditations
- Maintain Attorneys calendar with direction of Attorney
- Schedule client meetings and communicate with clients as necessary
- Maintain electronic client files
- Run conflict checks, open new client matters in practice management system
- This job description can be assigned or reassigned job duties at any time
Qualifications:
- Must be able to take direction and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by organizing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis
- Excellent word processing and proof-reading skills
- Excellent administrative and legal skills, professional, well organized, a self – starter, detail oriented, have the ability to multi – task in a high activity environment, be able to prioritize assignments, and work well under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience as a litigation paralegal and use of practice management systems is a plus.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
