Paralegal for Probate Litigation & Estate Planning
- Drafting and filing estate planning and probate documents
- Preparing binders for trial, hearings, and mediations
- Managing files
- Extensive Communication with clients
- Providing general administrative support
- Serve as contact for clients, beneficiaries, appraisers, accountants, real estate agents and financial advisors.
- Assist with all aspects of estate and trust administration including drafting court
- Assists in the execution of estate planning documents and maintains associated client files.
- Collects, values and inventories real and personal property for estate planning.
- Tracks, maintains and accounts for all receipts to and disbursements from the client estate or trust in format required by Probate Court.
- Opens and monitors guardianship accounts including annual accountings and tax returns.
- Handles all client telephone calls and requests.
- Must be able to take direction and work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by completing multiple time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis
- Excellent word processing and proof-reading skills.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Extremely professional, well organized, detail oriented, and must have the ability to multitask in a high activity environment.
- Be able to actively prioritize and re-prioritize assignments and operate well under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience as a Paralegal is highly necessary.
- Previous use of firm’s current practice management systems is a plus.
Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
