Aloia, Roland, Lubell & Morgan, PLLC recently expanded its business law practice with the addition of seasoned attorney, Scott Hertz. Hertz joins the firm with an established background in construction law, contract law and litigation, commercial law and real estate litigation. Hertz also represents clients in front of Southwest Florida government agencies dealing with licensing, permitting, land use issues and ordinances that impact his clients. Partnership disputes and business breakups are another area of representation.
“As a seasoned litigator, Scott Hertz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm. His practice in real estate litigation, construction and commercial law, coupled with his strong business acumen and established network in Cape Coral, make him the ideal addition to our growing law firm,” said Frank Aloia, Jr., senior partner at Aloia Roland.
Hertz also has a practical background in construction and development, he was a builder/developer in Southwest Florida and earned licenses as a realtor and general contractor in the State of Florida, which he has maintained to the present day. This enables Hertz to understand construction scope documents and plans to help resolve disputes more efficiently as an attorney.
“It’s an honor to join Aloia Roland and I expect to grow both personally and professionally under the guidance of Frank Aloia, Jr. and Jack Morgan. I’m pleased to offer a full service of options to clients, particularly when combining the firm’s expertise in commercial transactional work for leases and real estate closings, with my litigation and land use practice. Often times my construction clients exclaim, ‘You just get it!’ and I’m confident at the firm I’ll be supported to thrive as an entrepreneur while best serving my clients. Additionally, I look forward to growing the Cape Coral market and introducing a satellite office to the community later this year.” said Scott Hertz, attorney at Aloia Roland.
Hertz’s broader experience includes technology industry experience at IBM Global Solutions, followed by the creation of his own technology consulting company, providing project management, system architecture and business process engineering for Fortune 1000 companies. In the community, Hertz is actively involved and serves as the chairperson of the Lee County School Board District Advisory Council, a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Coral, the Lee County Bar Association, Southwest Florida Federal Court Bar Association, and as the General Counsel for the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association.
